 **Attention OBI Families**

Dear OBI Families,

We are reaching out to you with an opportunity for you to work alongside us as we grow our precious children. Many of you have reached out to us expressing your interest in volunteering at our school, we can’t thank you enough for your commitment to our students.  We want to officially invite anyone who is interested to go through the process of becoming a BISD volunteer and share with you some of the opportunities available here at OBI.

If you are interested in volunteering here at OBI, you will first need to complete the “Parent Volunteer Application”. This application can be found by going to our district website (bellvilleisd.org), clicking on the Parent/Student tab, select “parent resources” under the Parent/Student tab, then select Parent Volunteer Application and complete. Please also let us know of your interest by completing the bottom of this form and returning it to your child’s homeroom teacher.

Our greatest needs at this time are in Reading, Math, and Science. We have opportunities available that allow for you to assist students as they navigate through their Math assignments, increasing their “math fluency”, Science Assignments, working on reading fluency, and Reading Assignments. In addition, we welcome “Readers” and those who are willing to be read to.

We will have designated times/days available for each subject that you will be able to sign up for so that we are able to respect your time and schedule.

Please let us know of your interest by completing the bottom portion of this form. Thank you again for your commitment to our students and for all that you do.

BELLVILLE ISD SAFETY

Bellville ISD has always tried to insure a quality education for all students.  Part of a quality education is providing a safe learning environment for students and staff in Bellville ISD.  After events in the last half of the 2017-2018 school year across the country, safety has been at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts and Bellville ISD continues to strive to make our campuses the safest in the State of Texas.  Student and staff safety is an on-going and continuous process.  Some of the efforts are highlighted here.

Bellville ISD promotes safety throughout the year.  We ask that all stakeholders, guardians, staff and community members speak with students about safety and the need to report concerns to the appropriate school personnel.
